THE NOVOXS STORY
John, our team member, types fast.
When he logs into his computer, it takes him under a second to type his password, but his colleague Luke could still read his password from over 2 feet away.
Luke is a funny guy and likes to pull pranks. He used John's password that he easily saw him enter to rearrange the icons on his desktop.
John said to himself, "I've gotta do something about this..." and he started designing a new login method where the login code could never be reused.
He thought it would be an easy task. He was looking at the alternative solutions where the login code changes every time, but all of these required the user to have an external hardware to work.
John was struggling to find a solution where a person can do the calculations that token devices do without any device. One day John saw his kid playing with a Rubik's cube and instantly had an AHA moment.
The cube inspired the idea of using a pattern that remains at the same place, while the underlying numbers change. After having this revolutionary discovery, John hired a programmer to build the method for his laptop.
